RESAMPL on Instagram: “TRANSHUMAN ARCHIVE (THA ©2020) A curated selection of modern technology, con-temporary art and influential fiction showcasing the effect of the transhuman philosophy on our lives. As a reaction to the shift in reading habits and the processing of visual information, the book is divided into two parts displaying the same content in completely opposite ways. Whereas the first half acts like a clean cut encyclopedia with a bulk of text and in depth information on all subjects, the second offers a captivating and striking visual experience catered to a short attention span reader. Furthermore the division into two parts contrasts the styles of contemporary design as well as the ambivalence of transhumanism. 178 pages, silver-coated cardboard, embossed, 148 x 205mm. In fact, the assumption to the production process of the record arise in a condition of forced isolation, inside a container in Iraq, a pivotal element that pushes to an immersive and essential listening. The artist then investigates and introduces us to changing sound composition, that mixes and amalgamates intriguing experimental sounds with a fragmented dub and IDM rhythm.”
